A Belleville resident for the last 14 years, he also spent much of his life in Bloomfield, Nutley and Newark.
He owned J,P. Roofing and Siding of Belleville.
Described as beloved by many and having an infectious personality, he is survived by his fiance, Linda Giardelli; children Jessica, Thomas, Jason and Jason's wife Rosa; his granddaughter Isabella and many siblings, nieces and nephews.
A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday at Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison St. in Bloomfield, from 4 to 8 p.m. There will also be a visitation Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
